anything max for a first timer really then as you earn money start to work your way up. Most builds its nice to have a 15^50 inherrent on it and furious helps out with adrenalin skills (bonneties FTW) You can go as far as getting a +20 slaying mod (trolls or whatever) but it doesnt make alot of difference in the grand scheme of things. My farming builds tend to use glads as the damage dealer so an axe is just there to help out with adrenalin and a bit of damage. Grab a max axe and get farming buddy

If you want a green axe then consider:
1. Wing's Axe: Damage +15^50%, Zealous 1/-1, HP +30 2. Victo's Battle Axe: +15^50%, 20/20 AP, +30HP 3. Totem Axe: +5 Energy, 20/20 AP, 20% Longer Enchantments As you're just starting farming, don't worry about getting your hands on a green axe. Just get a max damage axe as Tufty said. Upgrade to a green axe once you start making money. Also, while farming you may find axe mods that you can use to improve your axe negating the need to buy/farm a green one. |

Zealous and vampiric weapons are nice if you're surrounded by foes and use AoE attacks (Cyclone Axe, ...).

For farming i dont see why people always go 15^50 as your almost always in a stance, so zealous +15% in stance is what I use.

Victo's has sundering. Sundering is crap. Nuff said. Totem is more of a caster's item, and assuming the OP wants to hit things with the axe, there are better choices. Better selections would be: Razorfin's Axe or Dragoncrest Axe for vampiric. Razorfin is a relatively easy boss to get to, and you can get the Dragoncrest Axe from finishing Factions.

you can grab any old axe and, with the proper build, get the job done. If you want an axe that supports your build and makes things easier, then we have to know your build to give you accurate advice.
If i'm farming grawls, trolls, or minotaurs then I usually switch between a totem axe (+5 energy and 20% enchant duration) and a 15^50 axe with 3/1 vamp and +5 armor. I use the totem axe while i'm casting shield of justice, then switch while fighting for extra healing and armor. |

Nothing beats the Vampiric for speed of kills and that extra health. Most of the axe farming builds use mending so you won't even notice the -1 pip of health. Razorfin should be the cheapest. |
